Washable Markers For Temporary Hair Streaks

Colored streaks in hair seems to be the "in" thing. My child and the neighbors have used this thrifty method. You take as much hair as you want to color and lay it on a piece of white paper, then simply color with washable markers. There you have it, no peroxide or toxic dye.

I saw my neighbor use a sharpie on her hair over here. If you are going to do this with a sharpie, remember if your hair goes far enough to touch your clothes, it may get on the fabric if it is permanent. LOL they are so funny to do this. What things will they think of next?

My 59 year old co-worker uses Bingo dabbers. She looks ridiculous.

This is a great idea, since it does wash out easily! As for Sharpies & Kool Aid. They are too 'condensed' to wash out easily. Washable markers are fantastic!

My daughter wanted to put kool aid in her hair years ago; everyone else was doing it. I finally let her with a blue color and it took forever to wash out! Her blonde hair looked grey for a long time.

I do this too except I use colorful Sharpies! It still comes out within a couple shampoos. :)
