Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry Ingredients:
1 cup noodles uncooked 3/4 lb Polish sausage sliced 8 cups cabbage coarsely chopped 1 small onion 1 apple grated 1/2 tsp. caraway seed 1 Tbsp. brown sugar 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt
Cook noodles, drain and set aside. Cook sausage until brown. Remove from skillet. Add to the skillet the cabbage, onion, apple, caraway seed cooking until the cabbage is tender, about 7-10 minutes. Add brown sugar, vinegar and salt. Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add sausage and noodles cooking until everything is hot.

Sandy, I make something similar, except I add a cup of apple cider and a couple of sliced apples. One of my favorite dishes.

Sandy, I have a recipe almost like this but it calls for a couple of apples and uses apple juice or apple cider. Really makes it especially good!
