Company Corn Bread
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 cups corn meal
Melt butter. Beat eggs until fluffy. Stir in butter, buttermilk and honey. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix dry ingredients with buttermilk mixture until batter has consistent texture. Pour into oiled 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-40 minutes.

- 1 1/2 cups self-rising corn meal
- 1 (8 oz) tub sour cream
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup cream style corn
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Mix all ingredients and cook in a greased 6 x 8 x 2 1/2 inch baking dish at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes.
