To save bending down and picking out your clothes one by one to peg on the line, put your hand through the waist and leg of the undies and fit as many as you can along your arm, thus bending once instead of many times. If your pegs are in a hanging basket, or pegged along the hem of your shirt, then this saves bending as well.
