Burnt Cream-Based Soup

How do you get rid of burnt taste in cream of broccoli soup?

If the burnt taste is all through the soup I don't think there is anything to rectify it. Throw it away. When making a pot of something and it starts to burn on the bottom, quickly transfer it to another pot without stirring, otherwise you will stir the burned taste all through the food.
