Upside Down Pizza
Got this recipe from my daughter. I think it's pretty clever and it's very good!
Ingredients:
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
12 oz. shredded cheese
2 Tbsp. flour
1 (15 oz.) jar pizza sauce
2 eggs
1 tsp. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
Directions:
Brown hamburger, onion and pepper together. Place in 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese over top and 2 tablespoons flour over cheese. Spread pizza sauce over all. Beat together eggs, oil, salt, milk, and 1 cup flour; pour over pizza sauce. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

RE: Upside Down Pizza
Very Good!I added a layer of pepperoni before the chesse. My family loved it A+. (02/04/2005)
It is also good with sausage instead of hamburger and add mushrooms, onions and green peppers. We used basil and tomato spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce. Was great. Can also substitute refrigerated pizza dough for crescent rolls. Just giving variations. My family loves this recipe! (07/23/2005)
