Can I cut the corn of the cob before I blanch it?

You don't need to blanch corn so just go ahead and remove from the cob and freeze :-)

Blanch first, then cut and freeze the kernels. Otherwise you have a mess in the water because you cut the kernel when you cut the corn off the cob.
