Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 chicken, cut up (3lb.)
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place rice in baking dish. Wash and pat the chicken dry. Arrange chicken pieces over rice. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend. Spoon evenly over chicken. Cover and bake 1 hour.

Baked Chicken

Love the jam in this recipe. Very easy and fairly inexpensive to make.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chickens, cut into pieces
  • 10 oz. bottle Russian salad dressing
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 8 oz. apricot jam

Directions:

Mix dressing, soup mix and jam together. Spread well over chicken pieces. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1 hour.

Prep Time: 10-15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 60 Minutes

  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 8 oz. French dressing

Directions

Place chicken in baking pan. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Is absolutely delicious!
