Sausage Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 2 cups noodles, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can golden mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup almonds, chopped

Directions

Saute' sausage until lightly browned. Last few minutes of browning, add onion, green pepper and celery. Drain off grease. Stir in remaining ingredients, except almonds. Pour into greased 2 qt. casserole. Cover and bake in 350 degree F oven for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer.
