Rocky Road Pudding

Attention pudding and rocky road lovers! Yum! Of course you can use instant pudding but personally I love the flavor and texture of cook and serve better ;-)

Ingredients:

  • 1 3oz package cook and serve chocolate fudge pudding
  • 1 3oz package cook and serve vanilla pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • Miniature marshmallows
  • Chopped almonds, toasted

Directions:

Cook pudding to package instructions. Transfer to individual dessert bowls. Allow to cool for about ten minutes or cover and refrigerate for future serving.

Just before serving top the pudding with marshmallows and almonds and let everyone decide for themselves whether they want to stir the marshmallows in or eat them right off the top.

Hi hugmehugs :-) The vanilla pudding adds to the flavor. I suppose you could use two boxes of chocolate and add a splash of vanilla flavoring but this is just the way I've done it for nearly five decades ;-)

Why do you use the vanilla pudding? Why not 2 boxes of chocolate?
