Creamy Chicken Crockpot Stew

Recipe for crockpot chicken creamy stew that kids love.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cut up chicken breast skinned
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (or any other creamed soup)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup small baby carrots
  • 3 Tbsp. smart balance cooking oil
  • salt
  • pepper and garlic (dash of each)
  • 1/2 package of noodles
  • 1 cup low fat sour cream
  • 1 pint of cream

Directions:

Add first 7 ingredients into crock pot, stir, and cook on high for 5 hours. At hour 5, add 1/2 package of noodles, sour cream, and cream. Stir into stew and let cook for 30 to 40 minutes longer on high.

Serves 6 to 10 but everyone will want more than one serving it is so tasty. I serve it with Italian bread.

My six year old eats it up as well as all the other family members. Have fun making variations with your favorite veggies and cream soups.

Sounds great. I have a small crockpot and will need to cut the recipe down a bit, but have done that before.
