Liquid dishwasher detergent was placed in the dispensors and the door to the Dishwasher was closed without locking or starting the cycle. Consequently, detergent has drained through the bottom door edge onto the front panel below. This has left a yellow stain that cannot be removed with even liguid bleach spray from the front panel. Any ideas on how to get this stain off the front of the dishwasher?

Have you Tried Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? That thing seems to get out everything that I think is impossible.

These stains are on the outside of the dishwasher, and not the inside, right? Have you tried some of the heavy-duty spray on cleaners such as Simple Green? 409? Is it a painted surface? Perhaps the appliance store can sell you touch-up paint in spray cans so you could mask off the panel and just repaint it?

Put a package of Kool-Aid (any flavor, sugar or no sugar) into the dispensers. Turn on the dishwasher as usual (make sure there are no dishes in there) and when it's finished, your dishwasher will be spotless!
