Need a stand for your umbrella but your short on cash? Here is a recycling tip you are sure to enjoy. Take one five gallon bucket and a leftover piece of PVC pipe that your umbrella stem will fit into and some leftover concrete.

Cut the five gallon bucket in half. Then take the piece of PVC and have someone hold it flush with the bottom of the bucket. Now pour in that leftover concrete.

Let concrete completely dry and you have a thrifty but usable Umbrella stand. Now take the other half of the bucket and Make a small child's garden. Dig up the ground where you want the garden and push the ring into the ground. Let the kids have at it with seeds or flowers. By Deb - Colorado
