Ingredients
- 8 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whipping cream
Directions
Line an 8x4 inch glass pan with aluminum foil. Greased foil with margarine. Set aside. Combine chocolate and coffee in top of a double boiler. Bring water to a boil; reduce heat to low, and cook until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally. Add butter and sugar to melted chocolate mixture, stirring until chocolate melts. Let cool. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour batter into pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until crust forms on top. Let cool completely. Cover tightly. Chill 2 days. Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Unmold loaf onto a serving platter. Serve with whipped cream.
