My brother shaves his face, but when he starts getting stubble the hairs growing back are rough and dry giving a very unclean look. Could you please give me some tips to pass onto him?

Not sure if this will help, but my hubby uses Noxzema after every shave, rather than aftershave. He also tends to use shaving cream for sensitive skin.

He can use a shaving cream for tough beards, and then an aftershave with conditioners. Gillete makes some great aftershave gels.

maybe he just simply needs a different razor and shaving cream. Tell him to always moisturize after he shaves NOT coat on after shave. (after shave irritates the skin more than helps it).

The age may have something to do with it. and eating healthy always help. Good luck :)
