Burn Mark On Plastic Worktop |
I inadvertantly placed a hot plate on my kitchen worktop (marble effect, black plastic) and now have a lovely square white burn mark on my new worktop. Any ideas how to bring it back to black again?

I would try using a black permanent marker, like a Sharpie. I use that to conceal nicks on black leather shoes, or shoe heels.

so sorry for your accident. your could try coloring it with a black permanent ink marker. If that doesn't work, you could place a decorated glass cutting board right over the area. That way you could have a place to put your hot pans on too.
