Gift-In-A-Jar Cookies |

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup M&M's
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3/4 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Layer ingredients attractively in any order into 1 qt. jar with tight fitting lid. Pack ingredients down slightly before adding another layer. Cover lid with fabric, attach card with remaining ingredients with a ribbon. An attractive gift for birthdays or to cheer a sick person.
On card write:
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat butter in large bowl until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Add cookie mix into butter mixture. Stir until blended. Drop heaping tablespoonsful dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 12 minutes or until almost set. Yield: 2 dozen.
