Keep packages of French onion dip or onion soup mix in your pantry. For flavor enhancement, sprinkle a tablespoon into homemade macaroni and cheese, cooked vegetables, or add to meat when making meatloaf or hamburger patties.

In a medium bowl, mix dressing, preserves and soup mix together well. In a 9x13 inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, pour dressing mix over raw chicken, sprinkled with garlic salt. Bake for 1 hour (covered with foil the 1st 1/2 hour, then uncover, baste. Leave uncovered for the last 1/2 hour of baking.
Mix all together and put in baking dish. Cut up chicken and place on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours. Do not season chicken!

Quick and tasty
In shallow non-metallic dish, combine lemon juice, white wine, Lipton Onion Recipe Mix, vegetable oil and basil. Add chicken to marinade; let stand for 20 minutes, turning chicken occasionally.
Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade. Place chicken on oiled rack on broiler pan; broil 6 in from heat for l5-20minutes (depending on size of chicken breasts), basting with reserved marinade for first 10 minutes and turning often, until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a skewer.

As the name suggests, a quick, easy stir fry. Great for leftover turkey.
In a large skillet or wok heat oil and stir-fry vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Add Onion soup, ginger, water, and turkey. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Blend cornstarch and apple juice and stir into turkey mixture. Stir until sauce thickens. Serve over rice sprinkled with almonds (if desired).

In a bowl, mix the two bottles of Catalina dressing and the packet of onion soup. Once mixed, pour half of the mixture in the crock pot then place the roast in. The pour the remaining dressing mixture atop the roast.
Brown roast in pan on both sides, until brown. While it's browning, boil 1 coffee pot full of water (in coffee pot). When roast is brown, leave in same pan you browned it in, pour hot water over it. Add 2 packs of Lipton Onion soup mix, add 1 onion chopped, salt and pepper, garlic, seasoned salt.
Potato wedges coated with oil and then dry soup mix are baked up for a delicious side dish. This page contains a soup mix tater recipe.
This is just simple homemade family cooking.
Salt, pepper, and flour the meat. Brown in hot oil. In the meantime, mix the mushroom soup, mushroom pieces, and milk together in a bowl. This is your gravy. Remove meat and drain skillet.

I am looking for a recipe my mom used make, it was goulash with a packet of Lipton's onion soup mix.

I cook 4-5 cubed steaks (frozen) with 1 package of dry onion soup mix and a drained can or mushrooms in the crock pot for 6-10 hours
When cooked, add a container of sour cream
serve over egg noodles
My family loves it
Brown & drain 1 lb. of ground beef. Add 1 package of dry onion soup mix and 2 cups of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir 1 tablespoon of cornstarch into 1/4 cup of cold water and slowly add to meat mixture. Cook for another 10 minutes. Then stir in 1 cup of cooked rice. Enjoy!!
