Theme parties are fun! Like pick your favorite movie or TV show or song or thing...like zombies...and come up with a party to go around it.

A Scavenger hunt is always fun. Have someone else (so it is a surprise to all participants) make a list of oddball, unrelated items that must be gathered, within a specific time, say a couple hours. At the end of the time, a rendezvous point is arranged (usually at the party spot, with refreshements & prizes set up) and awards are made for the people who completed the list most accurately, the fastest, the cheapest, and the like. Lots of hilarity and creativity ensue. The weirder the list of items, the more fun....for example, find the following items: a rollerskate key, a third grade report card, a handmade doily, pipe cleaners, a clarinet reed ....get the gist?

Well my Birthday is July 3 so every year I have a party in the park were my whole family get together right before the fourth of July and the park is empty we have a ball.
