Dawn detergent is often talked about on this site. Does anyone know what the UK equivalent is? Thanks.
By Julia in UK from UK
Do you have a liquid dish soap called Fairy in the UK? I'm from the USA but live in the Netherlands and Fairy is definitely the equivalent if not the same as Dawn (I always used Dawn in the USA).
Dawn is just a dish detergent, a good degreaser that gets tomato stains out pretty well. You probably already know of something like that?
Hi. I live in Malta and most of our stuff comes from either the UK or Italy. The best equivalent in the UK for dawn is Fairy.
if you are looking for a similar product to dawn detergent try Kleen Green! it will clean with enzymes while also being able to kill bird mites or fleas its amazing kleen green naturally will do the job.
It's been suggested mix this Dawn washing up liquid with a little rubbing alcohol and water to make your own spectacle cleaner. The thing is I live in the UK and you can't buy it here so what's the equivalent? Does anyone know?
If you can find Fairy where you live, this is equivalent to the Dawn dish soap. In Europe this is the next best thing to Dawn from the US.
Both Dawn and Fairy are produced by Proctor & Gamble and from all accounts have approximately the same ingredients. Dawn in US and Fairy in UK/Europe.
Hi there-- we are from the UK and live in the US. Use Fairy as it's the same :)
