I have been very pleased with my Shark Navigator Lift-Away vacuum. It has a powerhead and many attachments.

I am extremely happy with the Bissell Power Force Turbo upright vacuum which is bag less. A very good vacuum for approximately $90 Cdn.

Boy - that is a loaded question..
Just kidding - but it would be difficult to really answer as even this type of vacuum starts at 80.00 and goes to over 2,500.00.

I really love the brand that I have but I purchased it because I wanted really fresh air and one that would handle cat fur without buying filters.
Without knowing what your needs are - type of floors, animals, amount of money you expect to spend, etc - I would not recommend the brand that I like/use.

But for general information - here is a site that has information on many, many vacuum cleaners:

www.godfreys.com.au/.../powerhead-vacuums

But then, there are lots of very good vacuum cleaners of similar type at most local stores: Walmart for instance - and you can return it if it does not perform to your satisfaction.

I use moeBot vacuum cleaner that helps me clean my house very easily. I it has AI that enables it to cover all the corners of my house where cleaning is required.

I agree that the Shark is great

We have the Shark Rocket Deluxe pro, and the nicest part about it is its small, practical shape. It can fit anywhere. In spite of its size, it is very powerful and has a huge bag of extensions. It costs around $200 www.amazon.com/.../B00NGVF0TQ (Affiliate Link)

I have a Hoover bagless upright that I love. I have the usual canister style with the powerhead but have become disabled with arthritis. I found that this was easy to use, not heavy at all and has attachments for furniture. I was amazed how well it picks up, even better than my pricey canister.

I have been thinking of getting one for my 92 year dad who just lost Mom a few months ago. It would be easier for him to use. (We do go in and do cleaning but every now and then he will vacuum in the living room, etc.)
