Cabbage Au Gratin

Cabbage is a favorite of mine and I love this dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cabbage, cooked, chopped
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and paprika, to taste
  • 2 cups white sauce
  • 1/3 cup cracker crumbs (saltines)
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Layer cabbage, cheese, seasonings, and white sauce 1/2 at a time in buttered casserole. Mix cracker crumbs with melted butter; sprinkle over top. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until brown.
