Caring for a Puppy with Parvo?

We found out yesterday that my daughter's puppy has parvo. She is getting her meds and IV. She has been drinking in her own. But when my daughter went to pick her up she cried. Could this be because her stomach hurts from throwing up?

Parvo leaves a risk for dehydration and for permanent digestive system damage. I would recommend your daughter not pick him up while he's in recovery, and just continue the hydration/food/meds if applicable regimen.

Some say that giving him a 1/2 tablespoon of Pepto Bismol can help with gastric distress but check with vet first

My dog survived Parvo and lived to be like 20 so best of luck to you

That could very well be. Parvo takes a while to recover from. As long as she is drinking and under a vet's care that is good.
