Cat's Abscessed Tooth Burst?

My 20 year old cat had an abscessed tooth. The vet wouldn't operate. I had them give her a shot of Convenia and pain meds. The tooth has now burst. What can be done? She isn't eating.

20 years old is a very old cat. If your vet won't operate, it may be because the cat won't make it through surgery. Why don't you discuss this with the vet?

Find a new Vet. You really need a second opinion. While a vet may be hesitant to anesthetize a 20 year old cat, there are other ways to clean out an abscess and get rid of a bad tooth.
