My Pomeranian passed away last week. I don't know why, although she started to walk as if she was stunned for a second. Not long after she was tilting to one side. When we noticed we rang an emergency vet, but then her legs stiffened then she was gone. I'm a nurse and have seen loads of patients pass away, but I cannot stop crying over my Trixy Bella. She was so healthy.

The vet would know better than any of us. There could have been an undiagnosed illness or physical problem. My condolences.
You have my deepest sympathy on your loss. May Trixy Belle's memory be a blessing. It sounds like she had a stroke, which is how I lost my long hair Doxie. Did you ask her vet for input?
Sadly you may never know. Like people, sometimes they pass and no one knows exactly what happened.
Please consider bereavement counseling if you need it. It can be quite help!
