Sometimes excessive moisture can cause dry hands and feet. Taking too many showers also depletes the body's moisture levels. Taking showers that are too hot can strip away moisture the body makes naturally. The best thing to do is wash or shower in cool water or slightly warm water and immediately apply a non-toxic/non-irritating moisture.

I've never heard of excessive moisture causing dry hands and feet; right the opposite.
