Cleaning a Kitchen Faucet Head

My kitchen faucet head is sealed and can't be taken apart. This is our second faucet head. We have a lot of earthquakes and constantly have a churned up well. Can I still soak the head in vinegar and loosen the hard water inside it?

Yes, you can use white vinegar. Soak kitchen faucet head for 10-15 minutes. Use a gently bristle brush like a toothbrush and clean the mineral deposits.

Or, you could use CLR.

I have found that slightly warm vinegar works faster; just be sure head is completely submerged and let it soak for several hours or overnight is better.

Use brush (toothbrush is good) to clean out loose deposits but you may need a second time with fresh warm vinegar.
