I have a travel trailer and mistakenly left food in the refrigerator that spoiled and now there are gnats in the coils where it keeps the refrigerator cold. How do I clean it?

This can usually be remedied with a thorough cleaning. Remove everything possible and take parts outside if possible.
After a good scrub down you can leave them outside to dry. The inside will need the same kind of cleaning, maybe even a toothbrush can be used on the gaskets and shelf holders.
Be sure to leave everything out in the open and doors left open for a few days. You may want to put some charcoal, fresh unused coffee grounds or baking soda in the inside and close for a few days, but try to never close the door until you are ready to use your trailer.

You have already removed the food source. Clean with hot water and disinfectant soap. Make sure to dry out any areas with moisture. Repeat until the problem is solved.
Remove and removable parts and clean everything with 1/4 cup baking soda with 1 quart warm water. Dry thoroughly.
Before you even begin to clean it, make a gnat trap with a narrow-necked bottle that has about an inch of sweet syrup in the bottom to draw the gnats in. They won't fly back up and escape. Then rid the source that attracted them.
