Cook Time: 55 minutes + 15 minutes natural release

Total Time: 1 hr, 15 minutes

Yield: Whole chicken


  • whole chicken
  • 1.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1.5 tsp sea salt
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bay leaves


  1. Thaw whole chicken just until can remove the packaging. Add instant pot's trive. Pour 2 cups of water and add bay leaves. Add whole chicken in.
  2. Season with black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set Instant pot at 55 minutes on high pressure with natural release. Ready to eat!
