Crafts For KidsCrafts

Crayon Etching

Teach your kids with simple crafts even using their old crayons. What I like most about this craft is that the materials are easy to find and for me it's refreshing to the mind.

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Put layers of different colors on a piece of paper.
  2. Rub the whole thing with cotton or a piece of cloth. This is done to spread the colors at least almost evenly on your paper.
  3. As you can see the colors spread and the surface of the paper is smoother.
  4. Now, start rubbing a thick layer of black crayon over the layer of colors. Cover the whole page with black.
  5. Using a pointy object, start carving or drawing over the black layer.
  6. Done. You'll see the effects as you finish your preferred design.
