Cream of Broccoli Cheese Soup

The Velveeta cheese in this recipe makes it extra good!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 lb. frozen broccoli
  • 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
  • Advertisement

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • dash pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 quart milk
  • 8 oz. Velveeta cheese

Directions:

  1. Bring to a boil chicken broth, butter, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add finely chopped onion and broccoli; simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Mix flour and cold water until flour is dissolved. Add to boiling water. Stir until it returns to a slow boil.
  4. Add milk until desired thickness.
  5. Do not allow to boil after milk has been added.

Servings: 8

Cooking Time: 15-20 Minutes
