How do I cut wine bottles from top to bottom?

How I do this is I will use a lighter and a knife. When I do this I will use the lighter and will angle the knife in the fire and will go untill the knife is red. Then cut away!

It seems doable...and the ideas for what to make seem endless...but none the less...I chickened out and just recycled my bottles.

Safety first!!! Always use gloves and eye protection!

You heat a knife with a lighter untill it is redish orange. Then if you go slower, you will get a more smooth effect.

Just keep the lighter close by. You will most likely have to re heat it muliple times
