How do I cut wine bottles from top to bottom?

How I do this is I will use a lighter and a knife. When I do this I will use the lighter and will angle the knife in the fire and will go untill the knife is red. Then cut away!

This was a video I found, before I chickened out of trying it!

It seems doable...and the ideas for what to make seem endless...but none the less...I chickened out and just recycled my bottles.

You heat a knife with a lighter untill it is redish orange. Then if you go slower, you will get a more smooth effect. Just keep the lighter close by. You will most likely have to re heat it muliple times
