DIY Translucent Makeup Finishing Powder

I admit I used to buy makeup finishing powders from my favourite beauty shop for $20 to $40. Now I make my own and it works just as well. I gently apply it after I've put on my makeup and it helps keep my makeup on all day as well as minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines. This concoction works great on all skin types and tones and it will probably cost you a couple dimes in materials!

Total Time: 1 minute

  1. Add 1 teaspoon of baby powder to 1/2 a tablespoon of corn starch in your little dish or container.
  2. Mix thoroughly with a spoon. Dab on gently with makeup puff or brush.
  3. You can add 1/4 teaspoon of powder foundation if you'd like a touch of colour.
