This is an easy and enjoyable stitch to work. It will also give your cowl a feminine and textured look. Easily made into an adult size by working more rows. :)

Supplies:
- "I" crochet hook
- around 200 yards #4 worsted weight yarn
- scissors
- embroidery needle for weaving in ends
Steps:
- Ch 25.
- Work 3 dc in 5th ch from hook, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, *ch 3, 3 dc in same space, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, repeat from*.
- Ch 4, turn. 3 dc in same space as ch, skip (1 sc, 3 dc), 1 sc in ch 3 space, *ch 3, 3 dc in same ch space as sc, skip (1 sc, 3 dc), 1 sc in next ch 3 space, repeat from*, working last sc between turn ch and last stitch.
- Repeat last step approximately 65 times more. Or, if you want it to be longer for an adult, just keep going until you reach the desired length. This cowl hangs about 22" long after being sewn into a cowl. It is also about 6 1/4" wide.
- Ch 1, place ends together.
- Work 20 sc through both thicknesses, end off, and weave in ends.
- See? Seam just disappears.:)
- Cozy.
- Warm.
- Ready to wear now.
