Granny's Finnish Pannukakku

This a breakfast dessert that was always available when visiting Granny.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour

Yield: 6



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Whisk 3 eggs, salt, 1/2 cup milk together.
  2. Slowly add the flour and sugar, continue whisking until smooth. Blend in the remaining 1/2 cup milk.
  3. Pour into a hot buttered baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove from oven and liberally sprinkle with sugar. Slice into desired serving sizes. Can top with strawberries, maple syrup or enjoy as is.

Not dry like a regular pancake, kind of like french toast only no bread. Just make it and you'll see. Can enjoy cold or warm.
