You can make several nice universal greeting cards from magazines! I am not sure why I did not think about this sooner. I received this Better Homes & Gardens July 2018 magazine in the mail and addressed to me (I did not order it though). After reading the magazine, it would have been a waste to toss it out. I skimmed through the pages and found themes for greeting cards I could make:

- Fourth of July card
- pet card
- summer card
- birthday card
- Just Because card
- cet well card

You can make so much more!

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 6 cards

Supplies:

cardstock
magazine
X-acto knife
ruler
glue stick
scissors

Greeting Cards from Magazines - supplies

Steps:

Figure out what size greeting cards you want to make. I made my greeting cards 4.25" x 5.5" and 4" x 6" (vertical/horizontal). It depends on your preference. For best results use sturdy card stock paper.
Skim magazine and cut/rip out pages that are inspiring to you, to be created as a greeting cards.

Apply glue to your card stock, stick your image on and use an old gift card/card as paper smoother.

Using an X-acto knife or scissors cut off remainder magazine paper.

Greeting Cards from Magazines - trim off excess paper

Repeat process for all the pages you find that can be a potential greeting card! Enjoy.
