Beets are a cool weather crop, so keep that in mind because you are in Georgia. They can be grown easily from seed. I fertilize my vegetables weekly with Miracle Gro.

Plant seeds in February, March, April, August and September.

Plant in full sun, keep moist.

In Southern Georgia, you can plant the beets all winter.
