Gulf Fritillary Butterfly

Isn't it amazing and wonderful the exhibits we can view in Museums? When our Grandsons come from Ireland to visit we always visit our Museum of Natural History. They love it! Each year, our Museum has a Butterfly Exhibit of live butterflies from various parts of the western hemisphere. This Gulf Fritillary was in one of those recent exhibits, and he very kindly and patiently stayed awhile for me to photograph. What a beautiful sight! It is rare that we have a butterfly land and stay for awhile! I hope you enjoy him, and somewhere I read that the butterfly brings peace and good luck. I hope that is true for all who read this entry.
