House Training a Puppy?

I have 2 Maltese puppies and they are 5 months old. I am having trouble potty training them. I take them out all the time and they still go in the house. Do you think it's because we had other dog before them? Thanks.

You probably need to backtrack. Put them in a smaller area of the house so you can contain them and monitor them more. Take them out and tell them "let's go potty" after naps, playing, and meals and praise them a lot with lots of love. If they don't pee, bring them in for 15 min and try again. They will usually poop 5-30 min after they eat so tell them "let's go poop" and take them out when you think they will. They will probably get the hang of it with backtracking. And they will have accidents now and then being puppies. Good luck!
