I love the look of chairs transformed into lovely garden pieces. My favorite type of chair is metal.They are so easy to transform, by removing the seat or just using the full chair. Give it a quick wipe down. Using spray paint, sealer, and accessories, you can make a garden chair/planter. You can see how using chairs as planters while only spending a little money makes a real conversational piece in your outdoor space!

Supplies:
- lined hanging basket
- planter/pot
- spray paint
- sealer
- flowers/plants
- soil
- zip ties
- embellishments (optional)
Steps:
- Start by wiping down chairs.
- Use Rust-oleum spray paint (has paint and primer).
- Allow the paint to dry. You can also spray with a sealer.
- On my chairs, with round seats, I removed the seats.
- I took a hanging basket and removed the chain.
- With a liner placed in your basket, the basket is then placed underneath the chair securing it with zip ties, tying the chair and basket together.
- For the one with square slat seat I placed a planter on the chair.
- Fill with your favorites, soil, and, water.
