I didn't get a picture of the stamp, but it is NOT the helmet stamp, it shows some pottery in a circle. It states "The French Saxon China Co. Sebring, Ohio. 22K, gold USA, National Brotherhood Operative Potters."
There is significant crazing. The color is a cream-khaki, the outer rim is a maroon with gold filigree. I've scoured the internet for this specific piece but can't find anything. Does anyone recognize it? Also, is this genuine porcelain or glazed earthenware? Thank you.

You have Zephyr-shaped colored glaze dinnerware made by the French-Saxon China Co. of Sebring, Ohio. The Zephyr shape appeared in the late 1930s. I found a trade ads for the Zephyr shape www.laurelhollowpark.net/
"Zephyr": "Round shape with four crimped sections on bowls and plates; handles are angular. The two lines, based on French-Saxon's Zephyr shape, were made in distinct colors."
Your plate has a color glaze border.
The French China company was founded about September 25, 1911. In 1932 both French China and Saxon China stopped production. In 1934 they were combined and re-opened as the French-Saxon China Company. In 1964 it was purchased by the Royal China Company of Sebring. So, your plate is from the late 30s or 40s.

Your plate has the same border, but no flowers in the center.
The French China company made semi-porcelain china. In the Index of Trademarks Issued from the United States Patent Office it says that The French-Saxon China Company made Dishes, Glazed ceramic (published Dec. 12. 1950).
The closest thing I can find to your dish is on Replacements.com, and is called Queen Elizabeth Maroon. The link is for the salad plate, which is the only item they show. The maroon edge with gold filigree looks the same, but the center is white with a floral design. Manufacturers often had different patterns with similar designs, but I didn't find a pattern with a plain tan center at Replacements.com.
