Identifying Little Bugs?

Identifying Little Bugs - tan and brown ovoid bugI've been finding these little bigs on my windowsills, curtains, and blinds. Can anyone tell me what they are and how to get rid of them?

These are carpet beetles. Wash what you can in hot, soapy water and vacuum what you can't wash.

I use flea traps. I bought several, 1 for each room. I have five cats. I noticed these bugs are trapped also. You can order them from WalMart or Amazon.

That is a Varied Carpet Beetle (scientific name = Anthrenus verbasci). www.knowyourinsects.org/Coleoptera1.html#Dermestidae
