Identifying Small Brown Biting Bugs?

I am confused about what kind of bug this is; it looks like a beetle. I've been waking up with bites, but they come and go. I found these in my drawers, they have a little split in the middle and are easy to kill with a little squish. They are brown, I have found a few, but none of them jump. None of them are round, so thats makes me feel better about bed bugs.
