Identifying a Houseplant?

plant with dark red leavesI have a plant that was my mother's. I live in central MN, so I take the plant in each winter. By spring it is pretty scrappy looking, but when outside it grows and gets about 2 feet tall with beautiful red/burgundy shiny leaves. Most call it a coleus, but I was told it is not, and can't remember the name. Dragons Blood was a nic-name I think.
