Identifying a Houseplant?

Identifying a Houseplant - small pant with dark green leaves heavily veined with whiteI really liked this small plant from IKEA, so I decided to buy it. However, I've searched everywhere and I still can't identify its type. Its leaves are not smooth; they feel almost like paper, its branches are a little fuzzy, and it's average in size. Also, I have two small kittens in the house, and I saw on the internet a similar plant that is said to be poisonous to cats and dogs. They are very curious, and I'm worried they'll might try to eat it and get hurt.

Please answer if you can identify it, I'll be very thankful. :)

Hello

It is a Fittonia and could be a Fittonia albivenis (which only means white veins) and as a Fittonia it is not toxic.

Hope this helps

Hi everyone!
I am pretty certain now that it's a Fittonia plant. I will try to care for it as much as I can, and add even more plants to my apartment.

It looks like a type of dieffenbachia, and it is toxic to humans and pets.

I have a Nerve Plant/Zebra plant that is very similar and it is not poisonous and it does not appear that your plant is either.

It's a fittonia, as some others have posted. It needs a fairly high humidity so is often grown in terrariums.
