My daughter is turning 12 in just two weeks. She wants to have a party with some of her new friends that she has made from secondary school. I would like to keep it cheap.

Birthday ideas.

Step 1
I would do a movie night theme.

Step 2
You can decorate using a movie theme the stuff can be bought at the dollar store.

Step 3
Serve hamburgs and hot dogs maybe a couple of salads.

Step 4
When it comes time to watch the movie make popcorn give each child a box with popcorn, drink, and a box of movie candy.

Step 5
Make a cardboard sign that has number 13 on it you can paint it or glitter it.

Step 6
Make cupcakes instead of buying a cake really inexpensive to make.

The cheapest party would be a bowling party. You get two games, shoe rental, pizza, cake and soda. It's cheaper than doing it in the house.

I'd do a bring your own nail polish spa party. They can paint each others nails and listen to music. Get some pizza and cake, too.

Here are a few ideas for her:

  1. Do a make your own pizza party for the kids. You can make some cheap pizzas this way. My daughter and her friends love to make their pizzas on English muffins. All you need is some pizza sauce, maybe some sausage or even ham and a bit of cheese. You can do this for the kids and then have ice cream and cake.

  3. You could have a move party and supply the kids with popcorn and soda or some type of fruit punch. The kids could watch a few of their favorite movies together.
  4. Make your living room or back yard into a camp ground and let the kids go camping. Serve them hot dogs and hamburger and let them roast marshmallows on a small fire in the BBQ.
  5. Girls at this age love makeup. Have a homemade facial party where you can make the facial ingredient yourself. Let them give each other a facial.
