Keeping Cats Out of My Seed Starts?

I am growing a garden this year and starting my seeds inside. My cats keep getting into them. Can I cover them with plastic and still use my grow lights?

Cats hate the smell of lemons. Get some, slice then chop the peel and dry them for a day. Scatter them around the starts and you shouldn't have any more problems. I hope this helps.
