Making Green Beans with Pine Nuts

There are very few ingredients in this delicious side, but the flavours and texture make it taste superbly complex. I love these beans so much, I could have them as my main course!
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 13 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
- 12 ounces green beans, trimmed
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain.
- Lightly grease a pan over medium-low heat. Add garlic and pine nuts. Toast for a couple minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add drained green beans to pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for a couple minutes while tossing. Serve immediately.
