Plastic Egg Spider Craft - ready to play purple spiderHave left over Easter eggs? Upcycle them into these cute spider crafts. My daughter absolutely loves spiders so I'm glad we can make some more spider craft toys for her! This would double perfectly for Halloween as cute/not scary decor for a kids Halloween themed party!

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

  • plastic egg(s)
  • goggly eyes
  • hot glue gun
  • Sharpie
  • pipe cleaners
  • scissors
Plastic Egg Spider Craft - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Cut 8 equal lengths of pipe cleaner for spiders legs. Then fold the legs like pictured.
    2. Plastic Egg Spider Craft - cut 8 pieces of pipe cleaner
     
    Plastic Egg Spider Craft - bend to create legs

  2. Open egg and lay flat. Using a Sharpie, create circles and shade in.
    3. Plastic Egg Spider Craft - open the egg
     
    Plastic Egg Spider Craft - draw on circles and fill in with the Sharpie
     
  3. Hot glue on the goggly eyes.
    4. Plastic Egg Spider Craft - glue on the eyes
     
  4. Glue pipe cleaners (spider legs) on.
    5. Plastic Egg Spider Craft - glue on the spider legs
     
    Plastic Egg Spider Craft - all legs glued on
     
  5. Using a Sharpie pen, draw on a spider smile.
    6. Plastic Egg Spider Craft - use the Sharpie to add a smile
