If you have boots or purses that you haven't worn or used in quite some time, shake them out, outside first, before running your foot or hand inside. Beware of little creatures that might be hiding in the dark insides. It might save you a trip to the emergency room. I know a couple of people who wished they'd done this!

If you are actually worried about it, then keep in mind it only takes an hour or so for a spider to weave it's web...so shaking your shoes out is likely a good idea every morning.

Go a step further and store them all in plastic dry cleaning bags! Keeps them dust and pest free!
